Tri County League Pony All-Star Game Information For Thursday Night

WEST POINT – With all of the Tri County League tournaments complete, the Pony teams will host their all-star game this evening.

From Timmerman Field in West Point, the 2022 Tri County Baseball League Pony All-Star game is slated to begin at 7 p.m. Players should arrive at the field by 6:30 p.m. They should be wearing their team hats for the game and will meet their coaches to receive all-star shirts.

The game will be made up of a seven inning game as all players will be in the batting order. Each player must also play at least two innings of defense and can only pitch a maximum of three innings each.

The West All-Stars will be led by Wayne Blue Pony head coach Mike Sturm and staff while the East All-Stars will be coached by Jason Smith and Andy Guenther (West Point Patriots).

Wayne representatives listed for the West All-Stars are Brodey Munter and Jaxon Chase from Wayne Blue and Gavin Anderson and Mason Heikes from Wayne White.

Tri County League Tournament top three results from this past season:

Ponies: #1 Pender finished first, followed by #3 Wayne Blue in runner-up and #4 Wayne White in third.

Bronco Gold (Upper Division): #3 Pender took first, #1 Logan View Blue placed second and #5 Howells-Dodge finished third.

Bronco Blue Tournament: #1 Tekamah-Herman Gold won over #3 Battle Creek.

Didget Gold (Upper Division): #6 Pender placed first, #1 West Point Cardinals finished runner-up and #4 Emerson/Hubbard took third.

Didget Blue Tournament: #1 West Point Dodgers were crowned champion followed by #6 North Bend Orange in second.
