LAUREL – As postseason girls basketball begins next week and boys the week after, Nebraska high school programs across the state look to make a late-season push.
Thursday night high school basketball returns to Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com between a pair of northeast Nebraska opponents.

In the girls game, LCC is 8-12 after placing third in the Clark bracket of the Lewis & Clark Conference Tournament. Wisner-Pilger sits 7-13 and have dropped four straight recently.
For the boys outing, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge is 12-9 and finished fourth in the Lewis bracket of the Lewis & Clark Conference tournament while the Gators are 7-12 after splitting games in the East Husker Conference Tournament and dropping a 63-43 home game vs. BRLD Monday.
