ALLEN – A rescheduled doubleheader from December will now only feature girls competition between Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Tri County Northeast (Allen/Emerson-Hubbard).
Due to illness with the Tri County Northeast boys basketball program, the Thursday, January 13 doubleheader will be between the LCC and Wolfpack girls with the boys game being postponed for a second time to a later date.
From Allen Consolidated Schools, Junior varsity competition will begin at 5 p.m. playing two quarters with the varsity game scheduled for around 5:45 p.m. Thursday night.

The Tri County Northeast girls are 6-6 following a 53-37 road victory at Winnebago on Tuesday. The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Wolfpack.
For LCC, the Bears are coming off a 40-29 road loss at Wayne High also on Tuesday to now sit 6-7 on the season. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge won at Winnebago 54-49 last Friday.
Again, the LCC boys (10-3) and Tri County Northeast (5-6) Thursday night game has been postponed.
The LCC boys will next host Walthill on Friday, January 14 as the girls game was postponed. The LCC girls will be off until Tuesday, January 18 with the boys team following their Thursday night game in Allen.
The Tri County Northeast boys will next be in action on Tuesday, January 18 with their girls team hosting Homer.
