PENDER – NSAA high school winter sports took over Thursday as several northeast Nebraska basketball teams began their season.
Two games were carried on KTCH Thursday evening.
The Pender girls won 53-39 over Wakefield while the Wakefield boys picked up a 58-21 victory over Pender.
The next games being carried on Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com will be Wayne High vs. Ponca on Saturday, December 3. Pregame show coverage will be around 5 p.m.
