Scotus Topples No. 1 Mitchell, Heading to State Championship
Scotus knocked off No. 1 seed Mitchell on Friday to advance to the state championship.

LINCOLN – The Scotus girls are one win away from the program’s fifth state title.

The Shamrocks knocked off No.1 seed Mitchell 43-26 on Friday, handing the Tigers their first loss of the season with in the Class C1 semifinals.

Scotus will take on Bishop Neumann in the final at Pinnacle Bank on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 9 AM.
