Saturday District Volleyball Pairings

LINCOLN – A handful of northeast Nebraska high school volleyball programs are one win away from advancing to the state tournament in Lincoln next week.

According to a Thursday morning release from the NSAA, District Final volleyball matches will be played on Saturday, October 30.

If the two teams are separated by a distance more than 180 miles, a neutral site will be selected, otherwise the higher seed will host if less than 180 miles.

Game times and locations were still being finalized Thursday morning.

In Class C1, Pierce (26-5) has earned the #11 seed and will face #6 Chase County (26-4) on a neutral court.

In Class C2, #2 Wisner-Pilger (26-6) will host #15 Crofton (17-12); #7 Guardian Angles Central Catholic (17-8) will welcome in #10 Hastings St. Cecilia (22-11) while #9 Norfolk Catholic (21-10) will visit #8 Yutan (23-6).

In Class D1, #15 Hartington Cedar Catholic (10-22) will visit #2 Mead (26-4) and #14 Creighton (15-11) will play at #3 Nebraska Christian (27-3).

In Class D2, #5 Wynot (20-9) will meet #12 Wauneta-Palisade (16-13) on a neutral court.

 

The 2021 NSAA State Volleyball Championships will be played in Lincoln from Wednesday, November 3 – Saturday, November 6.
