LINCOLN – Round of 16 pairings were released by the NSAA office Friday afternoon as eight-man football teams who advanced from Thursday’s opening round were re-seeded 1-16 statewide.
Area teams who advanced include Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, Stanton and Lutheran High Northeast in Class D1 as well as Allen, Creighton, Wynot and Bloomfield in D2.
As teams who won road games had a better chance of hosting in the second round, LCC earned the #16 seed and will host #1 Tri County. According to LCC Schools, kickoff is set for 5 p.m. on Friday, October 30.
