WAYNE – By the end of day Friday those planning to register themselves or a team for the 2019 Wayne State College Catbacker Golf Tournament must have their form filled out.
The golf outing supports the WSC Wildcat student-athlete scholarship fund and is a four-person scramble with prizes awarded to the top three places in four flights and top two in the mixed flights.
From the Wayne Country Club, the 2019 Catbacker is scheduled for Friday, June 7. Registration and breakfast will be held at the newly renovated clubhouse from 8 – 9:15 a.m. followed by a welcome and orientation between 9:15 – 9:30 a.m.
A shotgun start will open the tournament at 9:30 a.m.; lunch will be provided between 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the course; dinner held from 3:30 – 5 p.m. and a program with awards to conclude the night between 5 – 6 p.m.
Individual entry fees include meals, refreshments as well as green fees and a team entry includes cost for four players.
Other day of event options will be $10 individual pick-a-putts; $40 for team pick-a-putts; $10 individual mulligans; $40 team mulligans and a $10 team buy-a-drive on hole #16.
