LINCOLN – Girls and Boys State Basketball tickets are available for purchase online.
According to a release from the Nebraska School Activities Association, these tickets are only available online.
The 2022 NSAA Girls and Boys State Basketball Championships will be from Monday, March 7 – Saturday, March 12.
During the weeklong state tournament, Classes A, C1 and D2 girls will play Monday, Wednesday and Friday with C1/D2 third place games scheduled for Thursday. Classes B, C2 and D1 girls will play Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with C2/D1 third place games scheduled for Friday.
During the weeklong state tournament, Classes B, C2 and D1 boys will play Monday, Wednesday and Friday with C2/D1 third place games scheduled for Thursday. Classes A, C1 and D2 boys will play Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with C1/D2 third place games scheduled for Friday.
Also, a reminder that these game times have flexibility to be adjusted by the NSAA if the same school qualifies for the state tournament in different classes and they play on the same day. Girls Class D1 games morning/afternoon sessions were flipped to accommodate the Shelton girls and boys while boys Class C2 games saw their afternoon/evening sessions flipped to allow Grand Island Central Catholic fans to attend both games.
Tickets must be purchased online through GoFan: https://gofan.co/app/school/NSAA and will be redeemed on a smartphone either through the app or email.
New this year for those who do not have a smartphone, there will be ticket kiosks at each location that will allow you to buy tickets with a debit or credit card only (no cash).
No printed or paper tickets will be allowed.
Ticket prices are the same either online or at the ticket kiosks being $23 ($20+fees) for an all-day pass (can only be purchased online); $9.40 ($8+fees) for adults and $7.30 ($6+fees) for students as children under five will not need a ticket.
NCA Gold Cards will be accepted at all venues.
The venues will be cleared after each session as tickets will be good for two games per session Monday – Thursday while Friday’s and Saturday’s championship games at the PBA will be three games per session.
