NSAA State Championship Football Finals Set

LINCOLN – With a change in the format and locations for 2020 NSAA State Football Championships, all seven classes will be in action on Friday, November 20.

According to a release from the NSAA, six-man is the only class that’ll be the same with their game being played in Kearney while all finals in Classes  A, B, C1, C2, D1 and D2 will be played at the higher seed.

NET will be televising the Class C2 championship final between #2 Ord and #1 Archbishop Bergan live from Heedum Field in Freemont at 3:15 p.m. followed by the Class A championship final featuring #5 Elkhorn South vs. #2 Omaha Westside from Phelps Field in Omaha at 7 p.m. These championship finals will be on television and livestreamed at netNebraska.org and the NET Nebraska App.

The Class B, C1, D1 and D2 championship finals will be livestreamed at netNebraska.org and the NET Nebraska App. These four games will be recorded for television broadcast at a later date in December to be announced.

 

 Class B: #5 Aurora at #3 Elkhorn at 6 p.m.

Class C1: #8 Adams Central at #2 Pierce at 5:30 p.m.

Class D1: #4 Dundy County Stratton at #3 Burwell at 5 p.m.

Class D2: #5 Sandhills/Thedford at #2 BDS at 5 p.m.

 

News Channel Nebraska will be televising the six-man finals between #4 Sterling and #3 McCool Junction from Cope Stadium in Kearney at 7 p.m. Friday. The game will also be streamed on the NFHS Network.
