NSAA Championship Football Set

LINCOLN – All seven classes across the state of NSAA high school football are set with 12 teams making their way to Memorial Stadium in Lincoln next week.

The six-man NSAA Championship contest will be held at Nebraska-Kearney this Friday, November 22. #2 Harvard (11-0) will take on #4 McCool Junction (11-0) at 7 p.m. from Cope Stadium.

All eight-man and 11-man championship games will be played in Lincoln.

Games on Monday, November 25 will open with Class D1 featuring #4 Osceola-High Plains vs. #5 Burwell at 10:15 a.m.; followed by Class D2 between #1 Humphrey St. Francis vs. #7 Pleasanton at 2:45 p.m. and Class B will close out the night at 7:15 p.m. with #1 Scottsbluff (12-0) taking on #2 Omaha Skutt Catholic (12-0).

Monday night eight-man scores in Class D1: #4 Osceola-High Plains defeated #7 Cross County (34-30) and #5 Burwell topped #7 Dundy County Stratton (28-10) while in Class D2: #7 Pleasanton won over #8 Overton (12-6) and #1 Humphrey St. Francis defeated #3 Falls City Sacred Heart (24-16).

Championship football games on Tuesday, November 26 will begin at 10:15 a.m. in Class C1 with #2 Wahoo (12-0) taking on #4 Pierce (12-0); followed by Class C2 #1 Sutton (11-1) vs. #2 Oakland-Craig (12-0) at 2:45 p.m. and Class A’s #4 Bellevue West (12-0) vs. #7 Omaha Westside (10-2) at 7:15 p.m.
