LINCOLN – Earlier this month the Nebraska School Activities Association released their 2018-19 All-School Cup winners.
The top overall teams in the NSAA All-School Standings for Class A was Lincoln Southwest (662.5 points); Class B: Omaha Skutt Catholic (615); Class C: Kearney Catholic (362.5) and Class D: Archbishop Bergan (372.5).
Standings included participation & championship result points through the boys golf championships.
For Wayne, the Blue Devils earned 167.5 total points. Broken down, they earned 50 points for being crowned state champions in softball; 22.5 points for being a state qualifier in volleyball; 10 points for music and a total of 85 points earned for regular total points.
Also, in Class C: Ponca finished with 147.5 All-School Cup points; Hartington Cedar Catholic received 140 points; Pierce earned 132.5 points; Wakefield received 87.5 points while Laurel-Concord-Coleridge earned 80 points.
In Class D: Allen recorded 92.5 All-School Cup points; Pender received 90 points; Winside tallied 87.5 points as Randolph took home 75 points.
Northeast Nebraska All-School teams who placed Top 10:
Class C: Norfolk Catholic placed fourth (285 points)
Class D: Hartington/Newcastle tied for third with Humphrey (237.5 points)
Northeast Nebraska Girls Standings Top 10:
Class D: Wausa (second – 165); Hartington/Newcastle (T-eighth – 145) and Wynot (T-10th – 140)
Northeast Nebraska Boys Standings Top 10:
Class A: Norfolk High (fifth – 290)
Class C: Norfolk Catholic (first – 245)
Class D: Hartington/Newcastle (second – 212.5); Osmond (T-ninth – 145).
