Northeast Nebraska Senior Golf League Changes

WAYNE – There’ll be a few changes in the month of August for those who participate in the Northeast Nebraska Senior Golf League.

According to Darrell Miller, Ponca has opted out as a site for the remainder of the season and there was a conflict on a date for another course.

August dates now scheduled include Tuesday, August 4 as originally planned in Wakefield with changes for August 11 now at Pender; August 18 now at Wakefield and August 25 now at Wayne.

The Senior Golf League is thankful for Wakefield and Pender for allowing them to make these changes. In a few weeks, the group will look over their schedule to see if there are any changes in September. All tee times will begin at 9:30 a.m. in August and September with tee times slated for 10 a.m. in October.

Anyone who is 50 years of age, enjoys golf and looking to meet new friends are invited to participate in this year Northeast Nebraska Senior Golf League.

Four person teams will be selected the day of play as golfers will compete for the lowest net-nine-hole team score adjusted according to their individual handicap.

Everyone is being encouraged to attempt to bring the correct amount of fee money with you as they plan to streamline the registration/payment process. Rental carts will be sanitized for use.

The complete schedule can be found below, visit each of the participating club houses or contact Darrell Miller at 402-375-4698, 402-369-2015 or email darrellmiller1218@gmail.com.
