Norfolk High State Track & Field Championship Results

OMAHA – Class A competition came to an end during the final day for the 2021 NSAA State Track & Field Championships Thursday afternoon into the evening.

From Burke Stadium in Omaha, Norfolk High placed 21st in the girls division with nine points while the Panther boys took 18th with 13 points.

Fremont won the girls division in Class A with 83 points followed by Lincoln Southwest with 69 points. Elkhorn South won the boys division with 88 points while Fremont placed runner-up with 54 points.

 

A trio of Norfolk High athletes just missed out on the medal stand. Carly Ries finished ninth in the high jump (5′), Isaac Ochoa came in ninth during the 1600-meter run (4:27.61) and Agdaly Skiff came in ninth in the discus (109′ 6″). Teammate Makenna Skiff was right behind in 10th (108′ 6″).

Class A Day Two 5-20-21

Class C and B NSAA State Track & Field Championship competition will get underway on Friday and Saturday, May 21 – 22. Class C field events will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday and running events will last from 10:30 a.m. until 1:20 p.m. Class B field events will start at 3 p.m. on Friday and running event start times will go from 4:30 – 7:20 p.m.
