Norfolk Archery To Host Outdoor 3D Tournament On Saturday

NORFOLK – Another opportunity to participate in a Norfolk Archery Club shoot is approaching this weekend with the first outdoor shoot of the 2022 season.

According to a release from the Norfolk Archery Club, an open 3-D archery tournament is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1.

Registration time is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The club’s outdoor range is located south of Norfolk on US Highway 81; turn west at North Airport Road (Coca-Cola building), go ¼ mile, then turn south at the Norfolk Archery Club sign (west side of National Guard Armory) and follow the trail.

Cost to compete in the Outdoor 3D is $20 for adults and young adults, $10 for youth and cubs or $40 for a family of three or more with no adult children.

Other outdoor archery events will include Extreme 3D (June 25 – 26); Outdoor 3D (July 30 – 31) and Whitetails 3D (August 27 – 28) while the final indoor archery shoot will be on December 17 (Indoor 450).
