WISNER/PENDER – Following a series of triangular matches on Thursday, teams have been placed into their respective divisions for Saturday’s high school volleyball competition.
From Wisner-Pilger, both the gold and silver divisional games will be played while bronze matches will be held in Pender during the 2021 Northeast Nebraska Jean Groth Volleyball Classic.
For Wayne High, they’ll compete against North Bend Central at 8:30 a.m.; Oakland-Craig at 11:30 a.m. and BRLD at 1:30 p.m. in the Silver Division in the auxiliary gym in Wisner. Other Silver Division games include BRLD vs. Oakland-Craig at 9:30 a.m.; North Bend Central vs. BRLD at 10:30 a.m. and North Bend Central vs. Oakland-Craig at 12:30 p.m. all in the auxiliary gym.
Gold Division teams will feature Guardian Angles Central Catholic; Wisner-Pilger; Archbishop Bergan and Lutheran High Northeast.
8:30 a.m.: GACC vs. Wisner-Pilger (New)
9:30 a.m.: Archbishop Bergan vs. Lutheran High Northeast (New)
10:30 a.m.: GACC vs. Bergan (New)
11:30 a.m.: Wisner-Pilger vs. Lutheran High Northeast (New)

1:30 p.m. Wisner-Pilger vs. Bergan (New)
In Pender during the bronze division, teams include Pender, Tekamah-Herman, West Point-Beemer and Wakefield.
