Men’s Senior Golf Cancelled Tuesday

HARTINGTON – With the predicted rain and temps Senior golf has been cancelled for Tuesday from the Hartington Golf Club. Instead, the next senior golf outing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8 at 10 a.m. from the Twin Creeks Golf Club in Pender.

Eligible players are anyone 50 years and older who enjoy golf and meeting new friends. The format features a four-person team selected the day of play and compete for the lowest net nine-hole team score adjusted according to individual handicaps. Carts are provided by club members and each country club.

Cost per club member is $13 at visiting courses and $3 on home courses while non-members of any league course will be charged a nine-hole green fee plus $3. Fees from all participants include a $1 for prize money distributed to the top four or five teams.

The final men’s senior golf league outings will be held on Tuesday, October 15 at 10 a.m. from the Highland Oaks Golf Course (Ponca) and Tuesday, October 22 at 10 a.m. from Logan Valley Country Club in Wakefield.
