WAYNE – Wayne State College head men’s basketball coach Jeff Kaminsky would like to invite all youth basketball players for camps in May, June and August.
The Wayne State men’s team will be hosting a Youth Skills, Fast Break and two Elite camps over the summer.
First up will be the youth camp for those in grades 1-8 and is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 – Friday, May 31. Participants will receive fundamental instruction in the areas of ball handling, shooting, passing, catching, offensive moves, offensive and defensive footwork, team defense and concepts of offensive team play.
Cost is $75 as the camp will run from 9 a.m. until noon each day.
Then on Wednesday, June 12 a Fast Break Camp will be offered for fifth through 12th grade students from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Cost to attend is $50 which includes lunch.
Concluding the 2019 camp schedule for the Wayne State men’s team will be two Elite Camps for those in 10th – 12th grade. The first camp will be on Tuesday, June 11 and the second on Thursday, August 8 both lasting from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and a registration fee of $50 which includes lunch.
Attendees should check in at Rice 30 minutes prior to the camps begin as all camps will be held at Rice Auditorium and the WSC Recreation Center.
All Wayne State men’s camps will feature instruction from head coach Jeff Kaminsky, new and exciting contests that include individual and team awards, games incorporating team play, camp t-shirt, daily prizes, excellence coaching staff that will challenge you and help you get better as well as special attention from current WSC players.
