WAYNE – As the announcement of the 48 statewide winners of the U.S. Bank Believers & Achievers award will be coming next, local school winners were recently posted.
According to a release from the NSAA on Wednesday, September 23, each NSAA member school is able to submit four senior students for recognition in this awards program.
U.S. Bank and the Nebraska School Activities Association are proud to sponsor the Believers & Achievers awards program which recognizes Nebraska’s future leaders. Those students who show commitment to citizenship, school involvement and community projects will be honored in the program.
From the nominees submitted, U.S. Bank and the NSAA will select and honor 48 high school seniors throughout the 2020-21 academic year.
Wayne representatives were Christopher Woerdemann, Treyton Blecke and Emily Longe.
Seniors who have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (unweighted 4.0 scale) and participate in NSAA sponsored activities are eligible for nomination.
