Lewis & Clark Conference Volleyball Finals Set

WAKEFIELD/WALTHILL – Four teams were narrowed down to the top two during the Lewis & Clark Conference Volleyball Tournament Monday night.

Wakefield and Walthill hosted a handful of matches.

From Wakefield, Ponca swept Tri County Northeast (25-23, 25-8); Wakefield won in three sets over Wausa (28-26, 23-25, 25-22) as Ponca won in four sets over Wakefield (25-21, 25-23, 18-25, 25-21).

Wausa also swept Tri County Northeast (25-16, 25-23) in the consolation match.

In Walthill, Wynot swept Osmond (25-20, 25-18); Laurel-Concord-Coleridge swept Randolph (25-18, 25-23) while Wynot won in four sets over LCC (17-25, 25-11, 25-21, 25-19).

Randolph also won in three sets over Osmond (25-22, 22-25, 25-21) in the consolation match.

Tuesday’s Lewis & Clark Conference Volleyball Tourney format will begin with the consolation round in Ponca. LCC will face Wakefield in a best two-of-three format while Ponca will meet Wynot in the finals which will be a best three-of-five match.
