LAUREL – As girls basketball teams in the Lewis & Clark Conference prepare for the semifinal round, boys teams were in action Thursday night for quarterfinal competition.
Leading up to championship Monday, boys scores from Thursday night can be found below.
In Creighton: #1 LCC defeated #8 Wakefield, 52-38 and #13 Winnebago defeated #12 Homer, 78-45.
In Walthill: #2 Osmond defeated #7 Allen, 50-40 and #3 Ponca defeated #6 Hartington-Newcastle, 56-44.
Semifinal boys games will be played in Allen on Saturday, February 8. LCC will open the night against Winnebago at 6 p.m. followed by Osmond vs. Ponca.
The girls semifinal games will be played in Wakefield Friday evening.
#1 Wynot vs. #5 Homer at 6 p.m. followed by #2 Ponca vs. #3 Winnebago.
