LAUREL – Area high school girls and boys basketball teams competing in the Lewis & Clark Conference will prepare for their conference tournament starting this weekend.
The Girls L&C Tourney will open with four host sites featuring 16 teams.

Ponca: #8 Creighton vs. #9 Bloomfield at 6 p.m. followed by #1 Ponca vs. #16 Osmond
Randolph: #5 Emerson-Hubbard vs. #12 Wakefield-Allen at 6 p.m. followed by #4 Randolph vs. #13 Plainview
Hartington: #6 Homer vs. #11 Wausa at 6 p.m. followed by #3 Hartington-Newcastle vs. #14 Walthill
Wynot: #7 Winnebago vs. #10 Laurel-Concord-Coleridge at 6 p.m. followed by #2 Wynot vs. #15 Winside.
Quarterfinal games will be played at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Wynot on Tuesday, January 29; semifinal round at Hartington-Newcastle on Friday, February 1 and the championship game at LCC on Monday, February 4 at 6 p.m.
Consolation games will also be held on Tuesday, January 29 at Ponca and Plainview.
The boys Lewis & Clark Tournament will open during a play-in game on Friday, January 25 with Winside visiting Homer at 6 p.m. Then, four more sites will feature 16 teams on Monday, January 28 in the first round.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge: #7 Randolph vs. #10 Wynot at 6 p.m. followed by #2 LCC vs. #15 Creighton
Quarterfinal games will be played at Plainview and Ponca on Thursday, January 31; semifinal round at Randolph on Saturday, February 2 and championship game at LCC on Monday, February 4 at 8 p.m.
Consolation games will also be held at Winnebago and Osmond on Thursday, January 31.
