PONCA – A 17-member conference recently announced their All-Conference and Honorable Mention volleyball representatives.
According to a release from the Lewis & Clark Conference, several area high schools were represented in northeast Nebraska.
Wynot was crowned Lewis & Clark Conference Tournament champions with a 3-1 victory over Ponca while Wakefield won 2-1 over Laurel-Concord-Coleridge to place third.
Wynot earned the #5 seed in the Class D2 State Volleyball Tournament and placed fourth following a three set loss to #3 Maywood/Hays Center. The Blue Devils finished 22-11.
For Wakefield, Alex Arenas, Aishah Valenzuela and Jordan Metzler were first team in the Lewis Division along with Daveigh Munter-McAfee as Honorable Mention.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Lewis Division First Team went to Kinsey Hall, Jordynn Urwiler and Mallory Ericksen as Tali Erwin was tabbed HM.
Ponca: Gracen Evans and Sam Ehlers (1st Team); Ellie McaFee (HM).
Tri County Northeast: Jordyn Carr and Rhyanne Mackling (1st Team).

Hartington-Newcastle: Alivia Morten (1st Team); Erin Folkers and Olivia Grutsch (HM).
Homer: Tori Walker (1st Team); Bradie Johnson and Rylie Harris (HM).
Walthill: Tylisha McAuley (HM).
Winnebago: Lakaylah Kearnes (HM).
In the Clark Division, Winside was represented by McKenna Russel as Honorable Mention along with Randolph’s Bailey Beal and Erin Engel among first team All-Conference.
