LAUREL – With only a handful of NSAA member schools beginning their football season during week zero, a northeast Nebraska program is off to a hot start.
The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge football team will be competing in Class D1 this fall and began their year with a road match-up at Class D2 Homer Friday.
LCC took control early and often as the Bears won 78-14 beginning their season at 1-0. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will next host Wisner-Pilger this Friday, August 28 at 7 p.m.
LCC will also be hosting their fall activities parents nights over the next couple weeks. The football and cross country teams will be recognized this Friday, August 28 at 6:30 p.m. from the football field while the volleyball and girls golf teams will have their parents night on Thursday, September 3 at 6:15 p.m. from the high school gym.
