WAYNE – Seven northeast Nebraska swim teams were represented during the 2018 Wayne Swim Meet Saturday afternoon.
From the Wayne Community Activity Center combined team scores saw the top two teams pull away from the rest of the field. Hartington posted a 722-team score to be crowned champions while the Wayne Swim Team followed in second with 504 points.
West Point placed third (177.5), Wisner in fourth (158), Dodge took fifth (140.5), Blair finished sixth (135) and North Bend rounded out the seven teams with 99 points.
The Wayne Swim team will next be in action on Wednesday, July 18 at North Bend while hosting conference on Saturday, July 21 from the Wayne Community Activity Center.
