Great Northeast Nebraska Shootout Postpones Day Two Games To Wednesday, Time Changes For Thursday

WAYNE – As winter weather strikes again in Nebraska, an eight-team holiday basketball tournament has made a few schedule and time changes.

According to Great Northeast Nebraska Shootout officials, the Wayne High Tourney has moved their day two games that were originally scheduled for today to tomorrow (Wednesday, December 30). This will also push the final day of the tourney to Thursday, December 31.

 

Day Two schedule:

Boys Division from Wayne High: LCC vs. Pender at 11 a.m. followed by Winnebago vs. Homer at 1 p.m.; Pierce vs. HCC at 3:00 p.m. and Auburn vs. Wayne at 5 p.m. Both winner’s bracket games will be carried on Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com, pregame show set for around 2:45 p.m.

Girls Division from WSC: LCC vs. HCC at 11 a.m. followed by Winnebago vs. Homer at 1 p.m.; Pierce vs. Pender at 3:00 p.m. and Auburn vs. Wayne at 5 p.m. Only the Wayne girls game will be carried on The City ‘KCTY’ 98.9/1590 and waynedailynews.com, pregame show set for around 4:45 p.m.

2020 Great Northeast Nebraska Shootout Changes For Both Wednesday And Thursday 12-29-20

Day three games:

From Wayne High: girls 7th place game at 9 a.m. followed by boys 7th place game at 10:45 a.m.; girls 5th place game at 12:30 p.m. followed by boys 5th place game at 2:15 p.m.

From Wayne State College: girls 3rd place game at 9 a.m. followed by boys 3rd place game at 10:45 a.m.; girls championship game at 12:30 p.m. followed by boys championship game at 2:15 p.m.
