WAYNE – As summer youth sports closed out recently, the Wayne Community Activity Center hosted their first of two registration dates and times for fall sports on Monday.
If you missed out, join the Activity Center today from 4-6 p.m. for fall sign-ups featuring 3rd/ 4th grade flag football, 5th grade & 6th grade tackle football as well as 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade volleyball.
These signups will be held at the Wayne Community Activity Center, located at 901 W 7th Street. Call 402-375-4803 with any questions.
Practice schedules will be determined once the volunteer coaches have been decided.
Cost 3rd/4th grade football is $25 for members and $30 for non-members and for 5th/6th graders cost is $65 for members and $70 for non-members. In Volleyball, for all grades cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Financial assistance will be available as the City of Wayne will only provide 50% as the remaining 50% is due at sign-ups.
Volleyball and 3rd/4th grade football competitors will also receive a t-shirt.
A reminder that this Friday, August 10 will be the last day for 6 a.m. adult lap swim & 9 a.m. water aerobics. Also, Tuesday, August 14 will be the final day for 2018 being open from noon until 9 p.m.
