East Husker All-Conference Girls, Boys Basketball Team

FREMONT – Broken down into First Team, Second Team, Third Team and Honorable Mention, a 13-team northeast Nebraska conference has announced their All-Conference basketball teams.

According to a release from the East Husker Conference, players were voted onto the 2022 EHC All-Conference Team by the conference’s coaches.

#6 Oakland-Craig defeated #1 North Bend Central, 53-52 in the EHC Girls Championship game while #1 Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family defeated #3 Howells-Dodge, 54-38 in the Boys title game.

State Tournament teams from the East Husker Conference were North Bend Central girls (C1 state champion); Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family girls (D1 state champion); Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family boys (C2 state champion); Oakland-Craig girls (C2 third place); BRLD girls (C1 state qualifier) and Howells-Dodge boys (C2 state qualifier).

 

 

Area teams: Complete Girls/Boys.

Pender girls: freshman Maya Dolliver (Second Team All-Conference), sophomore Avery Wegner (Second Team All-Conference) and senior Caitlyn Heise (Third Team All-Conference).

 

West Point-Beemer girls: senior Jadyn Meiergerd and freshman Campbell Snodgrass (Honorable Mention All-Conference).

West Point-Beemer boys: senior Keegan Doggett (Second Team All-Conference), senior Miguel Perez (Third Team All-Conference) and senior Riley Penrose (Honorable Mention All-Conference).

 

Wisner-Pilger girls: junior Emma Heller (Third Team All-Conference), senior Lindsey Kneifl (Third Team All-Conference) and junior Camryn Bellar (Honorable Mention All-Conference).

Wisner-Pilger boys: senior Beau Ruskamp (Second Team All-Conference); senior Spencer Batenhorst (Third Team All-Conference) and junior Jack Knust (Third Team All-Conference).
