Dirt Devil Softball Splits With West Point

OAKLAND – With just state competition awaiting this weekend for the Dirt Devil 10s, Wayne took to the road for a pair of games.

Wayne visited Oakland Tuesday night.

In the opening game, Wayne won 10-7 before Oakland took the second contest, 7-1. The Dirt Devil 10s are now 13-16.

From the first contest, the lone hit came from Jordyn Gamble who also tallied three RBI. Gracelynn Daniels accounted for a RBI.

Kinnley McGuire picked up the win in four innings allowing seven earned runs off six hits while striking out five batters and walking eight.


During the night-cap, no hits were recorded by either team.

Reagan McGuire suffered the loss allowing seven runs (four earned) while striking out five batters and walking seven.

The Dirt Devil 10s will open the state tournament this weekend in Hastings.
