TEKAMAH – With another rescheduled game to be played tonight, the Dirt Devil 12s took to the road Monday.
Wayne visited Tekamah during a doubleheader.
In the opening game, Wayne won 8-2 before winning 11-3 in the second. The Dirt Devil 12s are now 26-10 on the season.
From the first contest, Taytem Ellis tripled and drove in two runs while Rylin Hall doubled and drove in two runs for Wayne. Delaney Kruse singled twice and drove in two runs; Emily Jaeger singled as Sammi Gubbels accounted for the RBI.
Hall picked up the win in five innings allowing two earned runs off four hits while striking out seven batters and walking six.
During the second game, Kruse singled twice and drove in two more runs while Kadence Rees doubled and drove in a run for Wayne. Charli Sievers singled and drove in a run as Kierah Haase and Jersi Jensen both singled.
Sammi Gubbels picked up the win in four innings allowing three earned runs off five hits while striking out five batters and walking three.
The Dirt Devil 12s will host a rescheduled game Tuesday evening at 6:30/8 p.m. against West Point.
