Class C1, D1 High School Football Rankings 9/7/2020

LINCOLN/OMAHA – A pair of northeast Nebraska high school football programs continued to remain ranked in both the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World Herald.

According to Monday’s ratings, Wayne High moved up a spot to #1 in the Omaha World Herald and dropped one spot to #4 in the Lincoln Journal Star with their 2-0 record. For Wakefield, the Trojans took their 2-0 record up two spots to #6 in the OWH and up one spot to #8 in the LJS.

Wayne High is coming off a 35-19 win at West Point-Beemer which knocked out the Cadets from their #9 rating in the LJS.

The Trojans recently won 56-20 at Wisner-Pilger.

Wayne High will next host (1-1) Columbus Lakeview at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 11. Nate Burrows will have the call on Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com with pregame coverage set for 6:40 p.m.
