OMAHA – Closing out night three of the 2021 NSAA State Wrestling Championships was the first time Class C competitors saw the mat.
From CHI Omaha, Central City paced Class C teams after night one with 69.5 points followed by Aquinas Catholic with 64 points.

Battle Creek (T-26th with 15 points): advanced three of their five wrestlers being Boston Reeves (126), Korbyn Battershaw (145) and Dahlas Zlomke (285) all competing in a third-round consolation match. Kase Thompson (195) and Elijah Hintz (220) both went 0-2.
Crofton/Bloomfield (12th with 25.5 points): four their eight advanced led by Jared Janssen (220) in the semifinal round while Ribbie Fisher (106), William Poppe (138) and Paxton Bartels (285) will all compete in a third-round consolation match. Hudson Barger (113) and Tyson Sauser (145) both went 1-2 as Garret Buschkamp (170) and Calvin Dather both went 0-2.
Hartington Cedar Catholic (T-53rd with one point): Kerby Hochstein (132) went 1-2 while Conner Hochstein (160) went 0-2.
Lutheran High Northeast (T-42th with four points): Jazper Ames (220) went 1-2.
Norfolk Catholic (T-23rd with 16 points): Isaac Wilcox (285) advanced to the semifinal round. Dominic Liess (106), Allan Olander (145) and Francisco Mendez (160) all went 1-2.
Ponca (52nd with two points): Dalton Anderson (138) and Hunter Bennett (170) both went 1-2.
Quad County Northeast (LCC/Randolph) (T-46th with three points): Kolby Casey (195) went 1-2 while Tie Hollandsworth (152) went 0-2.
Class B/C wrestlers will compete in their day two semifinals, consolation round three, consolation semifinals, third place and fifth place matches from 9 a.m. until noon for Class B and 1 – 5 p.m. for Class C Saturday. All finals for Classes B/C will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday night.
