COLUMBUS – Four of the seven Area Tournaments saw their top team come through the bracket over a five-day period in Class B Junior American Legion baseball action.
The complete bracket was released Wednesday morning as the tournament will last from Saturday, July 14 – Wednesday, July 18 at Pawnee Park in Columbus.
Game one will open at 10 a.m. with Alliance vs. Hickman, followed by Mount Michael (ETC Knights) vs. McCook at 1 p.m., Wayne Post 43 will take on Ashland at 4 p.m. while Central City will face the host team, Lakeview Post 283 at 7 p.m.

Area 1: #4 Hickman won over #1 Auburn, 12-4
Area 2: #3 Ashland beat #4 Blair twice, 4-3 and 5-4
Area 3: #3 Mount Michael defeated #1 Bennington twice, 7-1 and 5-4
Area 4: #1 Central City won over #3 York, 10-0
Area 4: #1 Wayne defeated #4 Lincoln Lutheran twice, 4-1 and 5-1
Area 6: #1 McCook defeated #3 Kearney Catholic, 12-2
Area 7: #1 Alliance wins second game over #2 Gering, 11-7 after Gering forced the second game (6-5)
Host: Lakeview Post 283 (#3 Lakeview was eliminated by #1 Wayne in B5 bracket Monday)
