NORFOLK – After securing a road triangular sweep late last week, the Hartington Cedar Catholic volleyball team took to the road again Tuesday.
In Norfolk, Lutheran High Northeast entertained Cedar Catholic.
LHNE swept the Trojans (25-23, 25-12, 25-23) to improve to 2-0 while HCC fell to 2-1.
Abby Hochstein recorded a team-high 10 kills for HCC to go along with seven digs. Megan Heimes led the team in digs with 10 followed by Aiden Wortman with seven who posted a team-high 19 set assists and Tori Arens (six digs). Brynn Wortmann tallied three service aces.
LHNE JV won in three sets while the Hartington Cedar Catholic ‘C’ team won in three sets as well.
Cedar Catholic will be off until this Saturday when they compete in the Columbus Scotus Invite as the Eagles will be in action during the Northeast Nebraska Classic Thursday and Saturday.
