Busy Early Month Of November For Wayne State Men In California, Oklahoma

ORANGE, CA – The 2019-20 season officially begins for the Wayne State College men’s basketball team this weekend where they’ll play three games in three nights on the west coast.

Under fourth year head coach Jeff Kaminsky, WSC will compete in the CCA Division II Tip-off Classic in Orange, California.

The ‘Cats are coming off a 21-10 season after going 14-8 in league play and a trip to the NSIC semifinals.

Wayne State opens their western trip with Ferris State at 7:30 p.m. Friday night before taking on Concordia Irvine Saturday at 5:15 p.m. and Texas Permian Basin on Sunday, November 3 at 5:15 p.m.

The Wayne State men will also be in action next weekend in Oklahoma during the NSIC/Great American Conference Challenge. WSC will open with East Central (OK) at 5:30 p.m. next Friday and face Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday, November 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The home opener for Wayne State men’s basketball is Wednesday, November 13 hosting Nebraska Christian at 7:30 p.m.
