SEWARD – The Wayne High volleyball team has won three games in a row, taking seven of the past eight sets. WHS will be off until they compete in their second weekend competition of the season this weekend.
Wayne High went 4-1 during the Northeast Nebraska Volleyball Classic hosted by Pender and Wisner-Pilger on August 30 and September 1. The Blue Devils will take their 8-2 record into the Seward Invite on Saturday, September 15 with seven talented teams from Class C1 and Class B.

Lincoln Lutheran (11-0) vs. Wayne at 9 a.m.; Seward (8-2) vs. Omaha Mercy (3-1) at 10 a.m.; Lincoln Lutheran vs. Omaha Mercy at 11:15 a.m.; Seward vs. Wayne at 12:15 p.m.; Wayne vs. Omaha Mercy at 1:30 p.m. and Lincoln Lutheran vs. Seward at 2:30 p.m.

The third-place (Main Gym) and seventh-place (Auxiliary Gym) matches will be held at 3:45 p.m. with the championship (Main Gym) and fifth place (Auxiliary Gym) matches to follow at 4:45 p.m.
