Blue Devil Girls Golf To Open Season Friday

WAYNE – The Wayne High girls golf team will compete on three different courses over the next couple weeks closing out the month of August as they begin their season.

WHS will travel to Beemer and compete in the West Point-Beemer Invite on Friday, August 21 at 9:30 a.m. from Indian Trails Country Club. Competing teams joining the Blue Devils and Cadets include Marian, Papillion-La Vista, South Sioux City, Norfolk, Pender, Arlington, Archbishop Bergan, Oakland Craig, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Shelby-Rising City.

The Wayne High girls golf team will also take part in the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge dual on Tuesday, August 25 at 4 p.m. from Cedarview Country Club in Laurel.

Closing out the month will be a home invite from the Wayne Country Club on Friday, August 28 at 9:30 a.m. Teams joining Wayne will be Hartington Cedar Catholic, Battle Creek, Crofton, Elkhorn Valley, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, Oakland Craig, Pender, Pierce, South Sioux City, Stanton, West Point Beemer and Winnebago.
