Blue Devil Football To Visit West Point-Beemer Friday

WAYNE – With three weeks left on the regular season schedule, the Wayne High football team will play two of those games on the road including a district showdown Friday night.

The Blue Devils have won four of their past five games and sit 4-2 on the season (1-1 in districts) and are recently coming off a 16-0 home win over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder. WHS will visit West Point-Beemer who enters 3-3 (1-0 districts). The Cadets have won two of their past three games including a district road win at Boone Central/Newman Grove last week (28-13).

Last season, West Point-Beemer topped the Blue Devils in Wayne, 23-22 and again the year prior in 2017 (32-28) also in Wayne. The last WHS win came in 2016 in West Point, 24-20.
