ALBION/LAUREL – As the Wayne High boys golf team was scheduled to participate in a pair of invites today, now both have been called off.
The Wayne High varsity boys golf team was scheduled to make their way to the Albion County Club during the Boone Central Invite. But as of this morning, the invite has been canceled.
The LCC Boys Golf Invite, where Wayne was planning on sending JV boys golfers, has been postponed to Thursday, April 28 from Cedarview Country Club.
Wayne High varsity golfers have only competed in the West Point-Beemer Invite to open the season on March 28 while the JV golfers hosted a triangular on April 5.
The next Wayne High boys golf outing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19 during the Blair Invite.
