WAYNE – Following another pair of postponements the Wayne High baseball team will look to get back on track with their 3-3 record by hosting a northeast Nebraska team today.
From Hank Overin Field in Wayne, the Blue Devils will entertain Thurston-Cuming County (co-op of Pender/Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons Decatur/Emerson-Hubbard) on Tuesday, April 10. The TC Thunder are 1-3 after having a game rescheduled from this past weekend.
The two teams met on March 22 in Pender where Wayne High edged Thurston-Cuming County 5-3 in nine innings.

The Wayne High baseball team was last in action on Thursday, April 5 picking up a 10-2 home win over South Sioux City. Thurston-Cuming County recently lost to Norfolk High 10-1 also last Thursday.
WHS had games postponed with Blair on Saturday, April 7 and Fort Calhoun on Monday, April 9 while the TC Thunder had their home game with Platte Valley postponed from last Friday, April 6.
