WAYNE – After having their season opening game with Arlington rescheduled from March 22 to today, the Wayne High baseball game vs. Arlington has been canceled due to weather and will not be made up.
The Blue Devil baseball team sits 4-3 on the season and have won three of their past four games. WHS recently won 4-0 at South Sioux City on Tuesday and have outscored their opponents 45-6 over the past four games.
The Wayne High baseball team also has a home game scheduled for Saturday, April 10 with Blair.
Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com will air the Wayne High at Thurston-Cuming County baseball game on Tuesday, April 13. Varsity first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. as pregame will begin at 4:10 p.m. WHS topped the TC Thunder 10-3 on March 25 in Wayne.
