BATTLE CREEK – As another weekend invitational approaches, the Wayne High girls golf program took part in a road triangular Tuesday night.
From Evergreen Hill Golf Course in Battle Creek, the Bravettes hosted Elkhorn Valley and Wayne.
Battle Creek won the nine-hole triangular with a score of 194 while Elkhorn Valley and Wayne High didn’t post a team score.
Individual leaders came from Battle Creek as Megan Lutt shot a 43, Emma Wilkinson finished with a 45 and Joslyn Hrabanek shot a 50.
Wayne High’s Natalie Bentjen shot a 48, Riley Haschke finished with a 57 and Trinity Surber shot an 87. Elkhorn Valley’s top golfer came from Erica Brown with a 53.
The Wayne High girls golf program will next participate in the Stanton Invite on Friday, September 4 from Elkhorn Acres Golf Club. Tee time is set for 9 a.m.
