OMAHA – With no NSAA Wrestling Duals this year, instead a new subdistrict round was created by splitting the current district teams. Several area teams will take to the mat on Friday and Saturday, February 5 – 6.
The top four wrestlers from each weight class will qualify for an eight-man bracket for a district final next week.
Winside will compete in the D3-A Subdistrict hosted by Central Valley on Friday at 3 p.m.
Wakefield and Quad County Northeast (LCC, Randolph) will compete in the C2-B Subdistrict hosted by Raymond Central on Friday at 4 p.m.
Wayne will compete in the B2-B Subdistrict hosted by York on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Pierce will compete in the B1-A hosted by Nebraska City on Saturday at noon.
Tri County Northeast (Allen, Emerson-Hubbard) and Wisner-Pilger will compete in the C1-B Subdistrict hosted by North Bend on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Hartington Cedar Catholic will compete in the C2-A Subdistrict hosted by Oakland-Craig on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Ponca will compete in the C3-B Subdistrict hosted by Logan View on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Pender will compete in the D1-A Subdistrict hosted by Shelby-Rising City on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
