LINCOLN – Second day of postseason high school volleyball across the state closed out subdistrict finals competition as area teams advanced to this weekend’s district round.
According to a release from the NSAA, Tuesday matches have gone final ahead of the Saturday, October 30 District Final matches.
In Class C1:
C1-7 (Pierce): #1 Pierce swept #2 Battle Creek (25-20, 25-18, 25-21)
In Class C2:
C2-2 (Oakland): #1 Oakland-Craig swept #2 Pender (25-14, 25-21, 25-15)
C2-4 (Wisner): #1 Wisner-Pilger won in five sets over #2 Guardian Angels Central Catholic (17-25, 25-17, 15-25, 25-21, 15-9)
C2-5 (Crofton): #1 Crofton swept #2 Wakefield (25-21, 25-23, 25-19 )
C2-7 (Norfolk): #1 Norfolk Catholic won in five sets over #2 Lutheran High Northeast (25-23, NA – lost, 25-15, 22-25, 15-13)
Class D1:
D1-7 (Wausa): #3 Hartington Cedar Catholic won in five sets over #1 Wausa (20-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-11, 16-14)
District Final pairings will be posted here once available from the NSAA. The 2021 NSAA State Volleyball Championships will be played in Lincoln from Wednesday, November 3 – Saturday, November 6.
