Area Holiday Tourney Finals

WAYNE – Five Holiday Tournaments moved into championship Wednesday during their final day of competition before closing out 2021.

Several northeast Nebraska programs finished up their 2021 schedule in tourney play.

 

Wisner-Pilger Holiday Tournament: 28th annual Shootout on the Elkhorn

Girls Division: The consolation game favored Wisner-Pilger over Neligh-Oakdale, 67-31 while the championship game saw Ponca defeat Wakefield, 41-31.

Boys Division: The consolation game favored Ponca over Neligh-Oakdale, 55-48 as championship match saw Wakefield defeat Wisner-Pilger, 56-55.

 

Randolph Holiday Tournament:

Girls Division: The consolation game favored Winside over Randolph, 32-27 while the championship game saw Osmond defeat Stuart, 50-37.

Boys Division: The consolation game favored Winside over Randolph, 42-38 as the championship match saw Stuart defeat Osmond, 50-42.

 

Stanton Holiday Tournament:

Girls Division: The consolation game favored Stanton over Hartington-Newcastle, 57-16 as the championship game saw Lutheran High Northeast defeat West Holt, 47-46.

Boys Division: The consolation game favored Hartington-Newcastle over West Holt, 48-46 OT as the championship match saw Lutheran High Northeast defeat Stanton, 58-54.

 

North Bend Central Holiday Tournament:

Girls Division: The consolation game favored Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family over Omaha Mercy, 64-47 as the championship game saw North Bend defeat GACC, 41-33.

Boys Division: The consolation game favored GACC over Spalding Academy, 60-45 as the championship match saw Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family defeat North Bend, 63-44.

 

Crofton Holiday Tournament:

Girls Division: The consolation game favored Wynot over West Point-Beemer, 44-27 as the championship game saw Crofton defeat Humphrey St. Francis, 46-31.

Boys Division: The consolation game favored Humphrey St. Francis over Crofton, 46-31 while the championship match saw Wynot defeat West Point-Beemer, 62-52.
