Activity Center To Offer New Group Fitness Class, Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League Sign-Ups Available

WAYNE – The Wayne Community Activity Center would like to let members and non-members know that a new boot camp will be offered soon and co-ed volleyball sign-ups are approaching.

According to release from the Activity Center, the new group fitness class will feature a boot camp Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 – 5:15 p.m. beginning September 17. This class is designed for a full body workout while mainly using weights.

The workouts are designed with every fitness level in mind and it’ll be a challenging class in a supportive environment. For Activity Center members, the class is free while cost is $5 for non-members and $35 for a 10-class punch card (non-members).

Later this month, the adult co-ed volleyball league will start back up at the Wayne Community Activity Center. The league is played on Sunday nights from September 29 – November 17 with the tournament on the final date.

Registrations are due by Wednesday, September 25 with a fee of $100. Those interested can pick up a registration form at the Community Activity Center (901 West 7th Street) or register online at
