WAYNE – Another year of men’s senior golf league is scheduled to begin in late April.
From Tuesday, April 23 – October 22 anyone who is 50 years of age and up, enjoys golf and meeting new friends are welcome to join the 2019 men’s senior golf league.
Golfers will visit six different courses in Wayne, Hartington, Laurel, Pender, Ponca and Wakefield.
Golf will take place every Tuesday except in early September scheduled for Thursday, September 5.
Four person teams are selected the day of the outing to compete for the lowest net nine-hole team score according to individual handicap. Carts are also provided for club members and each country club.
Cost to participate is $13 for club members on a visiting course, $3 for members on a home course and nine-hole green fee plus $3 for non-members of any league.
Fees from all participants also include $1 prize money distributed to the top four or five teams.
Make sure to sign up for an optional lunch the day of play for $6.

Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and The City ‘KCTY’ 98.9/1590 will announce the location each day of play between 7:10 – 8:10 a.m. Also, weather related schedule changes or cancellations will be announced after 7:30 a.m.
April dates include the 23rd at Ponca and the Pender course on the 30ths both at 10 a.m.
