WAYNE/WAKEFIELD – A pair of northeast Nebraska golf courses will be hosting golf outings for all this weekend.
On Saturday, August 3, register to join the Wayne Country Club for the WHS Blue Devil Marty Summerfield Classic.
This three-person scramble will open with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. featuring pin prizes, mulligans and more. Cost is $50 per person with lunch available and proceeds helping Wayne High Athletics.

Upcoming events at the Wayne Country Club will feature the Wayne CC Junior Club Championship on Thursday, August 8 and the Becton Dickerson outing on Saturday, August 10.
Then, the following day join the Logan Valley Golf Course in Wakefield for the 2019 Wakefield Lions Club Parent/Children outing. The morning tee time on Sunday, August 4 is scheduled for 8 a.m. with the afternoon tee time set for 1:30 p.m.
The two-person teams can consist of any gender with the only qualifying factor being at least 20 years difference in age, unless it is a true parent/child relationship. Pin prizes will be available separately for both rounds.
Cost is $90 per team with lunch provided and mulligans available.
