Winside Volleyball Secures Second Home Sweep In Less Than A Week

WINSIDE – The Winside Wildcat volleyball team took part in their second home match in less than a week Tuesday.

Wausa was in town which featured a pair of three-win teams entering the night.

Winside won three close sets on their home court of 25-20, 25-23 and 25-19 to improve to 4-7 on the season, winning now three of their past four matches. Wausa falls to 3-5.

Brooklyn Behmer came away with a double-double recording 28 set assists and 13 digs for Winside. Andi Bargstadt led the Wildcats with 16 kills, nine digs to go along with three service aces as Hope Cummins tacked on eight kills.

Winside will next visit Walthill for a triangular this Thursday, September 20 along with Santee.
