#15 Wildcat Volleyball To Host #11 St. Cloud State Friday, (RV) Duluth Saturday

WAYNE – This weekend will mark the final regular seasons matches for the Wayne State College volleyball program.

From Rice Auditorium on the campus of Wayne State College, #15 WSC will host #11 St. Cloud State on Friday, November 12 at 6 p.m. and (RV) Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, November 13 at 1 p.m.

Saturday will feature a post-game autograph session for fans with the Wildcat volleyball team.

The Wildcats are 20-6 overall (13-5 NSIC) sitting fourth in the league standings entering this weekend. Earlier this season, WSC won in four sets at then ranked #16 Minnesota Duluth and suffered a four set road loss at then ranked #23 St. Cloud State on September 17 – 18.

SCSU currently sits among the top of the conference at 17-1 and are 22-4 overall while the Bulldogs are 18-9 and tied with USF (10-8 NSIC) for ninth.

The top eight teams will advance to next week’s 2021 NSIC Volleyball Championships at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Quarterfinal matches will be on Thursday, November 18; semifinals on Friday, November 19 and the championship match on Saturday, November 20.
